We take great pride in hiring a team of skilled counselors and staff who are dedicated to providing a safe and enriching experience for our campers. Each staff member will undergo a thorough background check, multiple interviews, provide personal and professional references, and must pass a drug test before being hired. Once on board, our counselors and staff will receive extensive training, including certification in First Aid/CPR, water safety, mandatory reporting, and specific specialty training to ensure the safety and well-being of our campers throughout their time at Blue Ridge ASC. Camp Counselors and Staff
Blue Ridge ASC hires the most skilled counselors and staff to work with our campers. Applicants go through a thorough application process including a background check, multiple interviews, must provide a minimum of three character or work references, and must pass a drug test. Once hired, counselors and staff go through extensive training to ensure campers are safe while at Blue Ridge ASC. All counselors and staff are trained in First Aid/CPR, water safety, mandatory reporting, and specific specialty training for those overseeing specific activities requiring extra training.
